STUDENT EDUCATIONAL LABORATORIES
(from primary school children to university students)
On Cassiopea the students try out some of the on-board scientific equipment: they wear the hydrophone which is used to hear the “voice” of cetaceans but unfortunately analyze the noise pollution, look at the sea water with plankton and microplastics under the microscope and stereoscope, learn to use the binoculars with which they spot whales and sperm whales, try the VR of the “Let’s digitize MuMa” project and other marine biology activities.
