In the modern world of disposable goods, where the watchword is “ unbridled consumerism ”, buying a new boat is much easier than recovering an old one.
The MuMa Museo del Mare Milazzo, in line with its founding principles, wants to undermine this concept and aims to be an example for change.
Workshops
On Cassiopea the students try out some of the on-board scientific equipment: they wear the hydrophone which is used to hear the “voice” of cetaceans but unfortunately analyze the noise pollution, look at the sea water with plankton and microplastics under the microscope and stereoscope…
